Why don't they believe me ?!

You may feel alone, but you are NOT alone.

Blood relatives may be secretly terrified of your situation: "If it happened to you, it could happen to me!"

Unrelated family and friends often have a hard time believing, understanding, and sometimes even listening to the facts of our "under the radar" medical challenges. Sometimes, even those in our inner circles have no frame of reference for heavy metal toxicity of any kind. They may not have had similar exposures, their bodies work just fine, and they don't know what it's like to be experiencing chronic medical issues for years on end. If we cannot find a way to help bring these "bystander" people onto the team to be Active helpers, they are likely to grow exhausted by what seems like our never ending problem.

Share this website with them; share the most concise resources you have found. People just need a lot of education and contextual background that ties into the "facts they already know" in order to be able to wrap their heads around something that, if we were in their shoes, we might not even be able to accept ourselves. Keep reminding those in your circle that this is not your fault.; you did not bring this upon yourself. Our trusted doctors, radiologists, dentists, and government regulators, are ultimately the ones that have let us down. Have they ever been let down by a medical professional? Seek common ground. Through this experience, we have learned to be staunch health advocates for ourselves, but it is not our fault that we were not aware of that necessity prior to when we got inadvertently poisoned..

Easily attainable mercury has been used as purposeful poison as far back at 2500 BC. Arsenic issues date back 100 years and lead issues were popular in the 1970s, but it wasn't until the 1990s that issues of mercury became a little more widely accepted by factions of the medical community. And it wasn't until 2010 that medical-product-gadolinium issues were even recognized by the FDA. Aluminum and cadmium are sure to be up next.

Heavy metal toxicity is likely a major factor in the health collapse of 25 to 50% of the population, and yet, it is a taboo topic in our main stream media, newspapers, television, and most government websites. In science, the toxicity of metal is not a controversial problem, but it is a scary one. PREVENTION by platform voting, regulation, and voting with our pocketbooks are our current frontline defenses. Reversal treatments are our offensive tools.

If you have regular access to email / internet, consider telling your story to one of the many online FaceBook/Meta chat groups.  (No other social media company supports organized patient groups. Shut down in 2020, Yahoo Groups was the original patient group meeting place before migrating over to FB, now Meta)  Others have traveled a similar path before you, and the patient community is chock full of support, resources and good ears for listening.  You will find good advice from others who have come before.  Feel free to just read for a time before posting.  DO NOT MISS the FILES section where each group houses its documents, pictures, research, and resources.  Also read through each group's archives section to find past discussion on specific topics that are currently important to you.

If you would like to remain anonymous, you can join groups using an alias or post anonymously. On most groups, you will not be marketed to. Business promotions of any kind are not allowed in the main chat areas. Individual members can be messaged separately.
