Chelation
Nation
Unlike the past eras of our grandparents' generations, MANY rare earth elements have now become common materials; we come in contact with many every day.
Our bodies can't tell the difference between these new-to-us "bad" heavy metals and the "good" minerals that are critical to all life on earth.
Our bodies try to "use" these heavier metals, but they "break" our bodies' molecular machines. Build-up of these toxic metals causes chronic medical conditions and autoimmunities.
Even a mother's womb can become a toxic metals environment, going back generations.
Heavy Metals CAN be removed
from our bodies.
Reversal of chronic disease IS possible.
We are living proof.
Terminology
iatrogenic disease: any clinical condition resulting from direct (or indirect) actions of physicians, surgeons, or medical professionals,
a new disease state caused by a diagnostic test or treatment, by "correct" uses of the modality, i.e. it is not medical malpractice.
Iatrogenesis is a major cause of morbidity (and mortality) in modern health care settings. Multiple studies over the years have demonstrated clear harms related to healthcare interventions.
to chelate (v.): (Greek for "claw") to grab grab tightly (by chemical bonds) onto a bit (reactive ion) of a metallic element (kind of matter)
chelation: the process of using a chelator (pronounced key-lay-tor) to tightly bind, render inert, and help to REMOVE a heavy metal.
other words for chelator: chelating agent, provoking agent, challenge agent, sequestering agent, chelant, ligand.
(A binder is not a chelator. Binders stay in/do not leave the GI tract.)
delivery mode: the way chelator is given - orally, intravenously, topically, transdermally, transrectally, etc
excretion route: the route each different "chelator+metal"-complex is actively pushed out by the body - kidney through urine, GI through feces, skin through sweat (hair is a passive route)

The content of this website is not moderated by any external board. Resources are added after they have been vetted as "generic", "unbiased", and "educational". This website will always be a work in progress.
If you do not find what you need here, please consult our resource listings for further assistance, as we are not available for direct contact or specific case advice.

REAL SCIENCE

Real science means peer reviewed published articles in professional journals, whether they be scientific or medical in their framework.
Real science may originate in any country.
The US does not have a corner on the market of respected education and intelligence.
Only primary source research material is used on this site. Priority is given to papers that can be accessed in their entirety online.
No effective therapy that both traps and removes heavy metals will be omitte.d.
BIAS TOWARD NO ONE

Patients do not have time for politics.
Patients do not have energy for egos.
Patients must rely on their best judgement and access to the best resources they can find to help them solve their problem.
Patients cannot afford to have a bias toward anyone. Sometimes people we like can help. And sometimes people we do not like can help.
Only chelation studies showing increased excretion of heavy metals or showing reduced patient load over time with symptom improvement are listed on this site.
